Acutronic is looking for a Junior HR Generalist / Recruiter to support the organization’s human resources and recruiting functions. This position will spend approximately 50% of its time supporting recruitment activities and 50% supporting general HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an opportunity to develop broad HR experience while taking an active role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle.

Junior HR Generalist/Recruiter

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment – Approximately 50%
    • Manage the day-to-day recruitment process for assigned positions
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate qualifications
    • Review resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates
    • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
    • Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
    • Extend employment offers in accordance with company procedures
    • Track recruiting activity, candidate status, open positions, and time-to-fill metrics
    • Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, schools, and other talent pipelines as appropriate
    • Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and other employment branding activities.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records
    • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
    • Source for passive candidates for current openings
  • General Human Resources – Approximately 50%
    • Support the day-to-day administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures
    • Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS setup, and required documentation
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files
    • Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member
    • Assist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations
    • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information and sensitive HR matters

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role
  • Previous experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferred
  • Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
